Jesus Is the Intercessor to God on Our Behalf

I read this post that read, “Jesus looked at the cross, looked at us and said we are worth it.”

I tried unsuccessfully to find that scripture in the Bible.
I do not agree with that, we have to be aware that some things sound good but may not be accurate.

I beg to differ Jesus asked His father not to let Him go through that crucifixion. He prayed three times, “Father if it’s possible take this cup from me Matt. 26:39.

After consulting with His Father, Jesus said to His Father, if it is your Will, then please do it quickly.”

We are so quick to say Jesus did it willingly. Jesus was frustrated because He wanted to prove He was the Messiah sent from His father but He was rejected repeatedly.

Jesus died for us in obedience to His Father, the Head of the Trinity. Jesus had to fulfill His purpose as the Son of the Father, which in doing so, Jesus completed the second part of the Trinity. The process was not completed until Jesus rose from the Dead, completing the human side and returned as the Holy one.

Then when the woman tried to touch Him after He rose from the dead Jesus said, “Touch me not, for I am not yet ascended to my Father, but go to my brethern , and say to them, I ascend unto my Father, and to my God, and to your God John 20:17.

God loved us so much He sent His only Son in Flesh. Flesh went back to the Earth and when Jesus ascended to His Father, He completed the Trinity by leaving His Spirit to dwell in us. Jesus made the sacrifice not because He loved us but because He loved His Father.

The Father and He became one when He completed His task on Earth. That is why Jesus is the intercessor to God on our behalf. Why do you think He said when we pray, we say Abba Father? I think it is time we get it right.

We are unworthy to go to God directly. To God we are unworthy because of Sin. His perfect SON intercedes on our behalf.

Please know in your heart that Jesus is now one with God and yes He loves us but when He was ready to be crucified, it was not because He loved us so, it was to be obedient to His Father. Now that they are one in the Trinity, yes, He loves us. ❤️

I did read in the Holy Bible where He (Jesus was on the cross and looked out, asked God to forgive the people because, they had no clue that the man they killed came to Earth to redeem them back to God, His Father. Paraphrase Luke 23:24.
Amen
