Lord, you said if I knock the door will be opened, through fasting and praying, I am knocking. Please welcome me to be united completely with you. I have emptied my mind, my heart and my soul for you to fill me up with your presence. Heal the broken pieces of my heart.

I have no where to go, no one to trust with these broken parts of me but you. You keep my innermost secrets and do not judge me according to what I deserve.

I yield completely. I want this hurt to be quick and painless; but, I know you will not just hand me joy without pain, happiness without sorrow, forgiveness without consequences. Help me Jesus to accept my chastisement with the Grace you did when they nailed you to the cross, when you never said a word, other than “Father forgive them for they know not what they do” at the beginning, and “It is finished” at the end. You left me an example. Help me to love when I feel like hating, help me to forgive to be forgiven, help me to trust you when I feel distrust of others.

Bless those that use me, hide me in your bosom until my pain is gone and keep me in perfect peace. You said “touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.” If I have gained favor with you, I knocked, let me in, please and avenge me of my adversaries swiftly.
