Controversial Post

Good morning,

WARNING THIS POST IS CONTROVERSIAL AND “UNAPOLOGETICALLY RAW”

As D.L. Hughley said so eloquently, and I paraphrase…with all the harm done to minorities, Congress unanimously passed a bill for a holiday where all people get to have a day off for freeing people that never should have been enslaved.

In the same instance, they cannot pass George Floyd Bill to keep the same race they enslaved from being slaughtered like animals.

They cannot unanimously pass the John Lewis bill that would protect voting rights and civil rights. Dark Brown people have been settling for crumbs since emancipation. Give all dark brown people their 40 acres and a mule or pay reparations to them is how the disparities between the races will be vindicated.

My mother is 92 and many of you with aging parents know that their social security is never enough to live on because much of their wages were never reported to social security by their plantation owners. How can you say all of the people who were affected by or implemented the crimes are no longer alive?

Everytime, you swipe your Bank Card, you take your inheritance and fill your hearts with Yachts, fancy cars, pay your children’s college fees, give them brand new cars, you are spending money that was earned by underpaid dark brown people to keep your houses clean, to raise your children and neglect their own.

Dark brown children were not raised by their parents because their parents were busy raising rich white people children. Dark brown adults were raised by their older sibling.

If the Congress needs someone to explain racial disparities, to explain why reparations should be mandated just ask any babyboomers, ask my generation, we will be happy to share with you. You may reach me at drddbaoh@gmail.com. We are the ones that are caring for our aging parents and discovering just how the effects of slavery still permeates the lives of dark brown people in negative ways.
Let me share with you how we have to decide whether to help our parents or put our children and grandchildren through college. One way for giving reparations is to pay for women like this and others like my mom who is 92 or my motherinlove, who is 91 and spent her life as house mother on a plantation, to have someone sit with them now that they can no longer care for themselves. Pay wages to the family members who have to quit their jobs to care for them because they were underpaid and in instances never paid for hard labor. Pay reparations to children of dark brown men who were encarcerated to continue to provide free labor after emancipation.

It is not rocket Science Mitch McConnell. You say all those people are dead who did such evil things. I beg to differ. Your wealth and the wealth of many others comes from unpaid wages that belongs to my parents, their parents, etc.

This is unapologetically Raw and Controversial this morning. As my Brother Terry Weems would say this is “Nasty But Necessary” #NBN and it is #UnapologeticallyRaw.

My heart goes out to these seasoned mom, grandmom, great grandmom, great great grandmom, who lived and worked for just a holiday, not even for reparations. Give her her just wages. That is true love. #truelovechallenge
#unapologeticallyme

Something that makes you go hummmmmmmm. If you read to the end pray with me for our seniors everywhere across this nation, some will never see justice on this side of life. Amen
