From Streets to Eternal Peace: A Call to End Violence

Young people, and middle-aged people,
Pay attention to this repost. Just as sure as you were born, you will die. Some will die too soon. Are you ready? If you play the streets, you will pay with your life one day, So!
Good morning,
The scripture below is so appropriate for the moment. Many people misinterpret this verse.
Sometimes, we fight, argue, and dispute over material things; however, material things add no value to our eternal existence.
You are born naked, covered in blood. When you die, you die dirty, and another cleans you up.
This verse reminds me to value the human experience and not focus on what I have or someone else has.
In my years of living with young people, I have never seen anyone carry their riches into graves with them. For example, Queen Elizabeth’s body became frail, and her beauty faded; her riches, crown, and all were left here for her children.
I believe families will get along better if they accept that material things have no value to God. God wants your soul to be at rest when Jesus calls your life into question.
Young people getting shot down in the streets, or going to prison/jail for money and a fast life, understand that if anyone can come back here, they would let you know that it is useless to give your life for things that do not matter.
Your only hope for a long life and eternal peace is a life sacrificed for God. Honor your father and mother so that your days may be long. That is simple. Respect your elders for wise counsel. God breathes life into your body, and he takes life.
Young people, you have choices as to whether you live a full life or God allows satan to sift your life away.
Please stop the violence. There are many jobs available now, and parents there are no more excuses to say their child is doing the street life to survive. Take back your homes, and trust God to supply your needs. Teach your children to learn, work hard, and believe in Jesus as their ancestors did.
Lay down the weapons.
Also, let me remind all that the same Bible where this scripture comes from declares, “Then said Jesus unto him, put up your sword, all those that take the sword shall perish with the sword,” paraphrased Matt. 26:52. Common people use a proverb, “If you live by the sword, you die by the sword.”
If we want to change, there must be a change within each of us. One person kills another; another person kills you, and so on. Preachers, Pastors, moms, and dads. It is incumbent upon us to have family meetings. We must be sick and tired of the cycle that has plagued us for generations.
Even the television taught us to settle disputes using the old testament mentality of an eye for an eye.
Remember, all you have and gain on this earth will be left on the earth. From the earth, you came, and from the earth, your flesh will return. Seek righteousness and eternal life for your soul and spirit to be at peace. Blessed be the Lord Jesus, the SON of a true and living God.
