Good Thursday Morning,
My first instinct was to share this post, then I decided to repost it instead.
As Christians, especially Pastors, we often spend our time going to God on behalf of others; however, it is important that we encourage each other with words of wisdom.
I thank God for my cousin Loretha Tolbert-Rich for never failing to encourage me with her devotionals. All credits to the post below goes to her.
Sharing devotion… For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Heb 4: 14&15 Our greatest battle is with ourselves, our sins, and our fear that God won’t forgive us for our sins. God has promised that if we repent (confess and turn away from) our sins, He will for give our sins. This battle causes us to live troubled and fear filled lives that keep us from having the joy, peace and prosperity that God desires us to have. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jer. 29:11 Stop battling with self, go to God for forgiveness and strength, then trust His word.
Thank you for this message of devotion
