Oh Heavenly father, (my Lord and) Savior, I thank you for Your church (Saints who fellowship with one another). Together, we sing songs of glory to You, and (we exalt)Your name. (Keep me walking with those who love (to magnify) Your name and (to) grow in You. I pray and (give thanks to you in faith that it will be fulfilled) that I may learn from (true worshipers) and that they may learn from me to love you and to (love one another), I pray (and long for) for an eternal bond with my brothers and sisters (churches in service to you) and I thank you for Your Kingdom that is (prepared as) our inheritance.
Jesus I long for the Agape love that you give to me from the church (Those who say they serve you.) I am tired of sin, disappointments, envious and deceptive people, I rather be alone in my place of safety, but your scripture reminds me of your outreach, your missions, and your truth. You never accused, you instead, allowed us to make choices and you just pointed out to us that there is a way that seems right to us, but the end of our way is death in You. I pray this morning that you help me to season my words with Your Grace and your Mercy. My way is not your way and my thoughts are not your thoughts. Guide me more into your light, humble me when I have stumbled when my tests come. I know that every time, I fail to complete my assignment and it is not pleasing to you, it will come upon me again. I do not like being accused of ill will, but I am not you.
You gave me the example to live by, and I ask this day to give me the courage to not engage when your Word, clearly demands that I let my Words be few. It is not possible to say the wrong things when we agree to let our words be seasoned with your Grace. Help me to season my speech with your love and when you need me to be relentless in my delivery of your Word, help me to be receptive to the attacks that follow Your truth in exposing sin. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray, Amen.
