This is one of those days when I have to encourage myself.
As the centurion said, “I am not worthy to have the Lord come under my roof”, I can imagine the centurion was speaking in the natural, but as I look into the spiritual realm of this verse, I say, Lord, I am not worthy to have you live in my spirit (body) yet you chose me to be your daughter, I offered myself to you and you received me. You adopted me and for that, I give you praise. I am nothing without you Jesus and I respect you as you dwell in my flawed body. Even this morning after reading that the suspect was apprehended my flesh rose up, and I thought, “He should be castrated”. Your soft spirit reminded me that vengeance belongs to you and that I have your assurance that “the wicked would be destroyed by the wicked.” I thank you for that.
I thank you for your omnipresence in my life. You always me. You guide me to always trust in you. This morning, I thank you from the bottom of my . You took me to a safe place in you this morning.
I thank you for cleaning up a sinner like me and transforming me into a vessel for you to use.
I thank you for this morning because you saw me before I was formed in my mother’s womb. You met me on the Damascus Road as you did Saul and you proved that through complete submission to your perfect Will that I could be an example to young people that you are a forgiving God and you will in no way cast me from your presence if I humble myself before your Son Jesus
I am not ashamed to say that “I once was lost, but now I am found, I was blind and could not see, not but for righteous people praying for me, I would have been sifted by Satan. But you came and rescued me. Thank you for healing me. Thank you for giving me a mind of Christ.
How well do (I) understand Jesus’ power? All things were made through Him, and He maintains dominion over (me). When (I) approach (You) with confidence in prayer, I accept and respect that You, God is sovereign. Every sickness, every power, and even the fire, wind, rain, and the earth are subject to You, as David said, in Psalms 34:8 KJV: Oh taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man (woman) who trusts in Him. The wind and the waves, sickness, and health, are all subject to Him. This is the good news that must be spread throughout the world. God is great and worthy to be Praised – What great news!
If you took time to read until the end, I that you be encouraged and that no matter what comes, if God can raise His Son from the dead, He can surely take care of you. Be Ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Know that one day your life and how you lived it will be called into question one day.
Words from my morning worship, that I choose to be open and an encouragement to all who are going through this time of suffering. Know that if you suffer for Christ you will reign with Him.
Prayerfully shared, Dr. Kat J. Crowell-Grate, Ph.D. inspired by God.
